Thread Snakes
A downloadable game for Windows
About
Thread Snakes is a casual game in which you train Salazar, a young thread snake, to properly stitch along an embroidery pattern. However, as Salazar is still young, he likes to curl up and suck his tail.
Using the mouse, hold left click to guide Salazar along the stitch lines and try to cover as many as you can before guiding him to his beloved tail.
This game was made for the 2025 GMTK game jam.
Objective
Guide Salazar along the stitch lines and try to cover as many of them as you can before leading him to his tail to complete the game.
Controls
| Move forward | Hold left mouse button |
| Move left / right | Move the mouse |
| Pause / resume | Escape |
Known Bugs
- Stitch count isn't zero when starting the game.
- Game over randomly triggers despite Salazar's head not biting his tail (currently a low chance of this occurring).
